Can Tiger win again?

The players have started in the Scottish Open Golf Championship but the big question is who will win “The Open Championship”. This is being played this year at the Scottish links course of Turnberry which was last used in 1994 and was won by Nick Price. Tiger Woods is the clear favourite (2/1 at William Hill) as he tries to emulate the feats of his great friend Roger Federer by winning his 15th major but is he still recovering from well documented knee surgery? Certainly his form has been erratic since the restart and he has never played at Turnberry. Padraig Harrington is another whose recent form is not as good as he would like but he is trying to win his third successive “Open” so he is obviously capable of coming good at the right time and at 33/1 (William Hill) might be worth a punt. Irish interest will also be for McIlroy (20/1 Ladbrokes, 888, Paddypower and William Hill) who has all the talent but still has to do it; or what about the colourful Ian Poulter (33/1 at Ladbrokes) who was runner up last year and has had a couple of good results recently. A good result for anyone in the Scottish Open will shorten the odds so if you fancy someone get on early.
