Some online casino games could not be easier to play

All the major online casinos now boast that they offer us over two hundred casino games for us to choose from, but the vast majority of these casino games are slots games in one form or another. This is because slots games are relatively easy for the online casino software designers to modify to cover a large variety of themes, and because the online operators believe that the slots games are their most effective way of attracting new casino games players to their sites. The theory behind this belief is that new casino games players probably do not know how to play the more traditional casino games and therefore prefer to play casino games which do not require any skill or experience to play. There are however a number of other casino games available at most online casinos which also satisfy those criteria. There are for instance a number of card games such as Red Dog which also fall into that category of casino game. In fact Red Dog, or as it is sometimes known ‘between the sheets’ could not be any easier. Played with a standard 52 card deck against the house for fixed odds, Red Dog is basically a game of pure chance. The player first places an ante bet of at least the minimum table stake, after which three cards are dealt with two of them face up and the third usually placed between face down or blind. A winning hand is simply one in which the blind card has a value between the two open cards. If the two open cards have a reasonable spread between them the player can choose to increase the ante bet before the blind card is revealed and most winning hands are paid at even money. If however the spread of the open cards is three or less the winning odds are generally higher at most online casinos because of the reduced chance of a winning hand. It is also possible that the two open cards are a pair, in which case the only winning hand would be three of a kind but this is rewarded by odds of 11/1 on most sites. If the two open cards are consecutive numbers there is clearly no chance of a winning hand so the deal becomes void and the stake is returned.
