New Pacific Poker Rewards Program

888.com has finally introduced its new rewards program through its poker site Pacific Poker calling it Pacific Poker Rewards Program. When playing a money game or a tournament in Pacific Poker you automatically earn both Reward Points and Status Points without any further registration or application needed. So what are they and what do they do?

Firstly “Status Points”. There are 6 statuses; four of which can be earned in a month and the top two of which are annual statuses. The first four statuses are Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. These levels can be reached at any time during a month and the status remains valid until the end of the following month. Bronze is the entry level; for Silver status you need 500 Status points, for Gold 1500 and for Platinum 4500 points. Once you have accumulated 60,000 points within 12 months you move up to VIP level which remains valid for 12 complete months after reaching the level. Likewise if you have accumulated 300,000 points you reach the top level of VIP Diamond. Your status can be tracked on your personal rewards page.

If you wonder what happens to your existing Frequent Player Points they have been transposed into Status points on a one for one basis.
Status points determine your status but Reward Points are what can be exchanged into cash or used to make purchases in the online store which is soon to be released. The number of Reward points you receive depends upon your status as follows:- Bronze status 1 Reward point for 1 Status point; Silver status 2 Reward points for 1 Status point; Gold status 4.5 reward points for 1 status point; Platinum 9 reward points for 1 status point; VIP status 13.5 reward points for 1 status point and finally VIP Diamond status 18 reward points for 1 status point. VIP status also gives you your own personal account manager and access to other VIP events and promotions.
Reward points are worth $10 for every 1000 points.
