What does 2010 hold in store?

by admin on January 7, 2010, 9:19

2010 promises to be another year full of exciting developments in the World of online casinos. We have the continuing saga over legislation in several different  countries and whether and how they will legislate or even in some of the EU countries whether  the EU itself will eventually impose itself over and above local laws which protect local monopolies and of course we have the US where it is widely anticipated that the UIEGA (unlawful internet gambling enforcement act) will falter and online casino will again be legal. Next to this we shall see the software suppliers continuing to develop new and better games with better graphics and other techniques to make the sites more visually appealing; we shall almost certainly see wider use of live dealers and hopefully with streaming from real casinos rather than from an office somewhere and possibly more multi player games. Tournaments are becoming more and more popular with Poker being the main game but other games such as Roulette and Blackjack are also being promoted, for example Ladbrokes run regular Roulette tournaments with various entry fees including one which is free.

Couple all of this with the fact that online gambling is still increasing in popularity and 2010 looks being an interesting year and we shall do our best to keep you abreast of all that is going on.
