Illegal Online gambling site uncovered in Israel

Following an undercover investigation, detectives from the National Police Investigation Unit together with members of Lahav 433, a unit of the Internet gambling taskforce questioned a number of gamblers and others who might be involved. This is the second such case in just a couple of months but whereas the first was very primitive involving messengers to collect or hand out money, this one allowed punters to use credit cards. The site in question was in the Hebrew language and is believed to have operated from servers in Eastern Europe; it enabled a wide variety of betting including sports, poker and casino games and even live dealers via webcam.
